Abhishek Sharma suffered a massive blow to regain the Orange Cap title, just a day after losing it to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.Vaibhav Sooryavanshi earlier became the first player to reach 400 runs this season, scoring 43 off 16 balls to help Rajasthan Royals defeat Punjab Kings.

This hit briefly placed him at the top of the playback charts.

However, Abhishek Sharma got it back within a day, smashing a quick 45 in a 244-run chase against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Virat Kohli also improved his position in the rankings after his team’s match against Delhi Capitals. The RCB batsman now stands at 5th place with 351 runs in 8 innings at an impressive strike rate of 162.50.
