The fifth and final T20I draw between India and England at the Rose Bowl in Southampton has been postponed after the Indian team got caught in traffic while traveling to the stadium. It was originally scheduled to take place before 7:00 PM Indian time, but the pre-match proceedings had to be postponed due to India’s delayed arrival at the stadium. Live footage later showed the team arriving at the stadium, allowing preparations to resume.
As a result, the draw has been rescheduled to 7:15 PM IST, with the start of play postponed to 7:30 PM IST, provided there are no further delays. The delay came ahead of a crucial match for Shreyas Iyer’s side, who are looking to avoid a series whitewash after England built an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series, with the opener ending without a result.Meanwhile, England are aiming to complete their dominant 4-0 win and perhaps move to the top of the ICC Men’s T20I Rankings with another win.Despite the brief traffic disruption, officials expect the match to go ahead in full, with only a 30-minute delay to the scheduled proceedings.
In your view, who has been the standout player for England in the series so far?
