This small but thoughtful gesture resonated deeply with fans.

The viral video went viral soon after Samson shared a heartfelt tribute to his wife on Instagram after India’s historic title win. The star thanked Charulatha for her unwavering support and spoke about how she has stood by him through every stage of his career.

“From the day I met you to this day in my life… Thank you so much for being there for me, for loving me as I am, and for being completely honest and true to me, no matter what I was to the outside world.

You saw my best sides and my worst sides, yet you stood strong by me.“Thank you for understanding how important cricket is in my life and making it equally important in yours,” he added.“And I wished and dreamed with the same passion and enthusiasm as you did at this moment. Thank you so much, my dear Bondateeeee.”This emotional tribute came after a remarkable tournament by Samson.

Initially relegated to the bench and playing just one league match against Namibia in New Delhi, the wicket-keeper batsman was brought back into the playing XI during the Super Eights match against Zimbabwe. From there, Samson wrote one of the most dramatic comebacks of the tournament. An unbeaten 97 against the West Indies in Kolkata set the tone before he delivered successive 89s in the semi-final against England and the final against New Zealand.By the end of the tournament, Samson had amassed 321 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 199, earning the Player of the Tournament award and playing a central role in India lifting their third T20 World Cup title.
