After Operation Hardball, the CBI is now on the lookout for Harmanveer Singh. Singh had been under the FBI’s radar for his alleged role in drug smuggling for the Ravinder Dhanda gang based out of Canada.

On June 23, 2026, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Singh in the U.S. District Court in California. This warrant came after he was charged with conspiracy to distribute, possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to export, and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.

Who is Harmanveer Singh?

According to the FBI, Harmanvir Singh is wanted for his alleged involvement in a transnational criminal organization involved in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.

The 31-year-old also uses the aliases ‘Harry Gautam’ and ‘Harman Sandhu’.

The federal agency added that Singh was involved in drug trafficking for the Ravinder Dhanda organized crime group. According to the FBI, the Danda Group allegedly trafficked large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine to drug trafficking organizations throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Hard ball process

Operation Hardball was an international law enforcement crackdown on transnational organized crime networks based in India. The three gangs that were focused on were the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the Ravinder Dhanda gang, and the Bhagwanpuria gang.

The operation coordinated with the United States, Canada, and Europe resulted in a total of 24 arrests and 37 indictments across the United States on charges of large-scale racketeering, contract murder, drug trafficking, and racketeering within North America.

Besides, a manhunt for Goldie Brar has also been launched, with the FBI offering a reward of $50,000 for information leading to his arrest.
