Kangana was addressing the Lok Sabha during the special session to discuss the three bills that seek to increase seats from 543 seats to 850 and ensure one-third representation of women in the lower house.
During her speech, Kangana said that she also supports linking the bill to the demarcation process, and described it as a “constitutional necessity.” She described the border demarcation process as important and much needed.

Pointing out that policy should reflect societal change, Ranaut pointed out that Prime Minister Modi, during his tenure in Gujarat, had consistently advocated against female foeticide and worked to raise awareness on the issue.
Responding to opposition criticism that the bill has been rushed, Kangana said Prime Minister Modi is rushing to bring justice to women in India. “Pradhan mantri ji mahilon ko nyay dilan ki jaldi mai ha,” She said.
