After stepping down as Bihar chief minister to resume his role as a Rajya Sabha MP, the former Bihar chief minister said the new government would have “full cooperation and guidance”. Kumar, who was the chief minister of Bihar for nearly two decades, resigned on Tuesday and dissolved his government after its last meeting today in Patna.
“The new government will have full cooperation and guidance. Even in the future, a lot of very good work will be done and Bihar will progress a lot,” he said in a post on X. “In recent times, this work has been developed further. Over the next five years, i.e. from 2025 to 2030, 7 Nishchay-3 will be formed. This will lead to more work, as a result of which Bihar will progress significantly.”
Kumar said the decision on 7 Nishchay-3 has already been taken, paving the way for completion of work over the next five years. “This will lead to more work and as a result Bihar will advance significantly,” he added.
Speaking about the formation of the NDA government in Bihar for the first time, Kumar said: “You know that on November 24, 2005, the NDA government was formed in the state for the first time. Since then, the rule of law has prevailed in the state and we are continuously engaged in development work.”
