Harmanveer Singh, an Indian national, has been arrested by the FBI for his alleged role in drug trafficking for the Ravinder Dhanda gang based out of Canada.
California Highway Patrol officers arrested Singh in Stockton, California, on Tuesday, the FBI said on Wednesday.
The FBI action came on the heels of Operation Hardball, a coordinated international enforcement operation targeting gangs run by Lawrence Bishnoi, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, and Ravinder Dhanda.

The investigating agency said Singh was wanted for his alleged involvement in a transnational criminal organization involved in conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, and conspiracy to export controlled substances.
It said the Ravinder Dhanda organized crime group was based in Vancouver, Canada, and allegedly trafficked large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine to drug trafficking organizations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

On June 23, 2026, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Singh in United States District Court, Central District of California, Los Angeles, California, after he was charged with conspiracy to distribute, possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to export, and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
In a joint operation earlier this month, law enforcement agencies in the United States, Canada and Europe arrested 24 people – 11 of them in California – linked to three India-based transnational organized crime groups, and charged them with a series of criminal acts.
In all, the US Department of Justice charged 37 people in the indictment as part of “Operation Hardball.”
