Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Sanjay Singh said he has been summoned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe allegations related to donations and land transactions linked to the Ram temple in Ayodhya and will submit documents to it on Thursday.

Singh said the head of the Special Investigation Team, Lucknow District Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, called him at 11 am on Thursday in connection with the ongoing investigation.

“I have sought time from the SIT and have now been summoned. I will appear before the SIT tomorrow and submit documents related to alleged theft of bids, misappropriation of donations and alleged land scam,” the AAP leader said on Wednesday.
He claimed that he had several documents related to the allegations being considered by the special court and that he would hand them over to the investigation committee.
Singh had earlier alleged irregularities in land deals and handling of donations and offerings associated with the Ram temple, and sought an independent probe into the matter.
The Uttar Pradesh government recently constituted a Special Investigation Team to examine the alleged misappropriation of donations and offerings received at the temple.
