The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative has reinforced the importance of girl child education and well-being. Through Nari Shakti Vandhan Adhiniyam, the Prime Minister got greater representation of women in the country’s legislative assemblies to advance women-led development.
Farmer welfare has been a key pillar of Prime Minister Modi’s policies. Through Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), income support is transferred directly to millions of farmers in appreciation of their contribution. Nearly 100 million farmer families have benefited from more than… $Rs 4.28 lakh crore has been disbursed under the scheme.

Before 2014, India was widely considered one of the world’s “fragile five” economies, with investor confidence declining. Thanks to bold reforms, investor-friendly policies, fiscal discipline and low inflation, India is now the world’s fastest-growing major economy and an increasingly attractive destination for business and investment.
India has signed free trade agreements with developed countries, opening up global opportunities for our youth, farmers, small businesses, artisans and workers without compromising India’s interests, unlike some of the reckless deals signed by the United Progressive Alliance.
The government has also boosted business and middle-class confidence through key reforms, including the goods and services tax and reductions in tax rates. The Digital India initiative, coupled with the rapid expansion of internet access and digital payment systems, has had a significant impact on the economy while facilitating the daily lives of citizens.

Extensive railway electrification, an ambitious bullet train project, and the rapid expansion of national highways and expressways have made many parts of India’s infrastructure comparable to the best in the world.

His leadership placed the welfare of the poor and farmers, the aspirations of the middle class, and the aspirations of a rising India at the center of governance.
As the nation moves forward, this transformation journey continues with renewed determination towards building Vixit Bharat by 2047.
