Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I are two people who get things done, US President Donald Trump said on Friday, adding that this is something that “can’t be said for most people”.

“Our amazing relationship with India will be even stronger in the future. Prime Minister Modi and I are two people who get things done, which can’t be said for most people,” the US Embassy in India shared on X a message from President Donald Trump.

Prime Minister Modi and Trump spoke on phone on Tuesday and discussed the situation in the Middle East, including the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open.
This was the first phone call between the two leaders since the United States and Israel launched coordinated attacks against Iran.
