Criticizing Modi, he said that while the Prime Minister was making reels in Italy, India’s youth were taking to the streets demanding justice over the paper leak.

“When Modi was making reels while distributing sweets in Italy, the youth in India, tormented by paper leaks, were taking to the streets to demand justice,” he said in his post.

“Because NEET papers leak has ruined the future of thousands of students. Many children have lost their lives. Modi ji did not take responsibility, did not remove Dharmendra Pradhan, did not utter a single word,” he said.

As students and workers of NSUI and INC seek justice, the BJP’s state governments are “raining rain on them”, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said.

“A government that answers students’ questions with batons does not work on accountability – it works on fear. But we will not be afraid. We will not stop until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns and a strong and safe system is put in place to stop paper leakage in the country,” Gandhi said.

The former Congress president said that this battle is for the sake of every student whose future was stolen by this “failed” government.

Gandhi tagged a post from the Rajasthan Congress where, in an alleged video, water cannons were used to disperse protesting students and NSUI workers protesting outside the BJP headquarters in Jaipur. The Congress had organized a protest demanding Pradhan’s removal from the post of Education Minister over the newspaper leak.
