Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia on Sunday claimed that his party will win over 100 seats in the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, citing the “good work” done by the state government.

Addressing party workers during his visit to Hoshiarpur, AAP Punjab in-charge Sisodia said the party won 92 seats in the 2022 Assembly elections and would cross this number in the next elections to form a government with an “overwhelming majority”.
Punjab has a 117-member assembly.
The former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister met local party leaders, held discussions in a “family atmosphere” and said the party would win more than 100 seats.
Reviewing the implementation of various government schemes, Sisodia expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved.

Reacting to the court’s recent decision in a case related to Delhi’s excise tax policy, Sisodia said: “Truth has prevailed.”
He alleged that the BJP hatched a conspiracy to target AAP president Arvind Kejriwal because of his “rising popularity and honest style of governance”.
Rejecting the opposition’s criticism that the AAP government had failed to make, he said that people are aware of the ground reality and the opposition’s allegations will not influence public opinion.
He credited party workers for the support the AAP government has been receiving in rural areas over the past four years, saying the appreciation from villagers was a result of their sustained efforts and work at the grassroots level.
Sisodia urged party workers to prepare for the 2027 elections and asked them to start preparations and continue strengthening the organization.
Earlier, Sisodia received a warm welcome at the residence of Hoshiarpur MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa, where a large number of party workers, including women, received him with flowers and honored him with a ceremonial ‘sirupa’.
