High prices for domestic LNG and commercial cylinders $60 and $114.5 respectively as of Saturday (March 7) as energy costs continue to rise due to conflict in West Asia.
This is the second price rise in less than a year. Industry officials told news agency PTI that the adjustment comes after a sharp jump in global energy prices since the start of the military conflict between the United States and Israel against Iran in West Asia.

Unsubsidized LPG, used by ordinary household consumers other than Ujjwala beneficiaries, will now cost more. $913 for 14.2 kg drum in Delhi. Earlier, the price was standing at $853, according to the Indian Oil Corporation website.
This is the second increase in 11 months. The last increase came in April last year, when prices were raised $50.
Prices vary across states depending on local sales tax or value-added tax (VAT). Below are the details of the revised price of 14.2 kg drum in some major metro cities:

The beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana, over 10 crore poor families who got free LPG connections after the launch of the program in 2016, will continue to receive a subsidy of Rs. $300 on each 14.2 kg drum for up to 12 packages per year.
Commercial LPG price
The price of commercial liquefied petroleum gas, which is used by businesses such as hotels and restaurants, has been raised $114.5 for a 19kg cylinder.
The cost has arrived now $1883 in Delhi. This increase comes after another rise $28 per 19 kg cylinder which came into force on March 1.
