The video came to light even as Aman publicly accused his wife of “abandoning” him after her selection for BPSC. He filed a complaint for the same reasons, saying that he supported Wijdan in her education, and claiming that he sold a plot of land when necessary. “Because of the good grades, she said she wanted to continue studying. So I helped her continue her education. My father also supported her in this…” he told ANI news agency.

The police were alerted to the public confrontation over the alleged case

Aman claimed that he “discovered” that Wejdan was “staying with a man,” adding that he saw the man’s car on May 23 and took a video of it. A public confrontation broke out, with Aman saying the owner “snatched” his mobile phone and “threatened to kill him.”

“I stood on the corner of the road leading from that house. When the man reached the corner in his car, I stopped him and asked him what he was doing there,” Aman told ANI, claiming that the man then became violent. He added that his wife “came from behind with slippers.”

Footage of the incident shows a chaotic roadside confrontation between the pair, with police also involved. A police officer tried to calm the situation, while the government teacher warned. “Don’t shout excessively; if you try to disrupt law and order, we will teach you a lesson you won’t forget,” the officer can be heard saying in the video, according to India Today. In response, Wijdan says: “No one can teach me a lesson.”

The wife’s version was not immediately available in news agency reports. It was not clear whether

The couple married in 2013 and have a 10-year-old boy

The couple married in 2013. “The marriage was arranged by her maternal uncle… She had passed intermediate at the time of marriage,” Aman told ANI, adding that Gunjan sought further studies because of her good grades.

“…We got married in November 2013, and I got a job in 2024…” Aman said. He also identified the man who claimed to be having an affair with his wife. “..this guy’s name is Prem Prakash Jaiswal. He is her school friend…” Aman said.

In the lawsuit he filed, Aman appealed to the court to “exempt him” from the duties of a husband. He said: “…Earlier, I wanted to get my family back…but after seeing the incident on May 23, I ask the court to exempt me from it, and it will be difficult for me to spend another day with her.” Aman further said that the couple has a 10-year-old child. Their son allegedly claimed that Prem Prakash’s “uncle” was frequently visiting their home and was asked to identify him as his uncle if anyone asked questions, India Today reported.

There are currently no official findings or evidence regarding the allegations made by Aman.
