AAP president Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss concerns over E20 gasoline, and requested that pure and E20 gasoline options be made available at fuel stations, as prices of ethanol-blended gasoline fall.

In a letter to the Prime Minister, Kejriwal said he wanted to explain the technical issues and comments he received from people relevant to the issue during his proposed meeting.
Kejriwal said customers should have the option to buy pure gasoline or E20 gasoline from gas stations.

“If someone wants pure gasoline, they should have that option, and those who want E20 should have that option as well,” he said.
Kejriwal said he wrote to the Prime Minister after interacting with people and understanding their concerns about E20 petrol.
The AAP chief also sought to lower E20 gasoline prices, saying the blended fuel provides lower mileage than regular gasoline.
Kejriwal added that the party has started an online petition for citizens to share their experiences with E20 gasoline and urged people to share their concerns about mileage and others.
