Residents in parts of the UAE and Kuwait said that movement has been restricted and security measures have been tightened in several areas in light of the escalating tensions in West Asia.

Rehan, who hails from Sarai in the Jwalpur district and works as a driver in Kuwait, claimed that the missiles were seen flying over parts of Kuwait City, and one of them landed near a US military base a few kilometers away.

“When the explosion occurred, I was driving my car some distance from the scene. Black smoke was seen rising, and sirens began to sound throughout the city,” he said.

He claimed that until four days ago, missiles coming from Iran were clearly visible in the sky, but now they come at such high speeds that they hit their targets in the blink of an eye.

Rehan, who lives in the Shibl Ahmed area in Kuwait, said, “There is chaos in Kuwait, and people are in a state of panic.”

He said he talks to his family every day to reassure them of his safety, though they urge him to return to India once the situation stabilizes.

Rehan’s mother, Shehnaz, who lives in Gualapur, said she has been worried about her son since the war began.

“I usually talk to my son almost every day, but when I hear news about the deteriorating situation there, my heart breaks,” she said. “I worry about my son’s safety.”

Shah Rukh, a native of Haridwar’s Jwalapur district who lives in Sharjah, told PTI over phone that the situation in some parts of Dubai has remained tense for the past five days.

It was claimed that sporadic attacks took place in the Marina, Sharjah and Jebel Ali areas, where authorities advised people to stay in their homes.

Shah Rukh, who works with Himanco Steel, said work at his company was suspended for five days.

“A limited number of flights and some essential services have been resumed since Tuesday,” he said, adding that more than 100 Indians live in his residential community and are hopeful that the situation will improve soon.

The United States launched military strikes on Iran on February 28, killing Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Following the military attack, Iran carried out a wave of attacks mainly targeting Israel and US military bases in several Gulf countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

In the past two days, the scope of the conflict has expanded significantly with attacks and counterattacks by both sides.

India called for resolving the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
