Ever since the rift emerged between the Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP and other leaders of the party, all eyes have been on the former’s next move.

Noting this, Chadha shared a video on Instagram about his account story and called it an “interesting idea”.
He shared a clip of a user named Rihan who uses the username ‘seedhatthok’, where the creator suggested that Chadha should now float his own party which will gain him more support.
Addressing Chadha directly, he said: “At this point, everyone wants Raghav Chadha to create his own party called Gen-Z Party or any other name he finds suitable.”
“However, if he joins another party, he may not get the kind of support he is getting now. Or perhaps, he may actually receive some hate. For this reason, creating his own party will be a good decision. He will get the support of the youth and win unilaterally.”
While sharing this clip, Chadha described the creator’s idea as an “interesting idea”.
However, he is yet to officially announce anything about what he will do next.
Raghav Chadha vs AAP
Over a week ago, the Aam Aadmi Party replaced Raghav Chadha as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha and appointed Ashok Kumar Mittal as the new MP. He was also banned from speaking in Parliament from the party’s quota, at a time when he was gaining popularity on social media for raising what many said were middle class issues in Parliament.

However, the party accused Chadha of going easy on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and using the party’s time to raise issues like samosa prices at airports, which also led to a wave of memes on social media.
One of the major points of contention, among the many going on behind the scenes of the break-up between AAP and Chadha, was the impeachment motion moved by the opposition parties against Chief Election Commissioner Ganesh Kumar.
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said Chadha refused to sign the proposal. Another RJD leader, Atishi, asked Chadha directly: “Why are you so afraid of the BJP? Why are you afraid of questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi?”
“Have you ever questioned the attack on democracy? Have you ever questioned the deletion of voters, or voting incorrectly?” She added.
Both leaders also questioned Chadha’s absence during Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the ED, following which, the party was on the streets to protest.
In response, Chadha said he had been “silenced” by the party.
He also said: “Whenever I have the opportunity to speak in Parliament, I raise public issues… but is doing so a crime or a mistake?”
On Monday, Chadha shared a post of himself reading a book and wrote, “Someone gifted me a book this week… I turned to the first chapter – ‘Never Beat the Master’. Some books arrive just on time.”
Book: “The Forty-Eight Laws of Power” by the American writer Robert Greene.
