IndiGo on Tuesday issued a travel advisory warning passengers of possible disruptions due to adverse weather conditions in the national capital, as overcast skies affected flight schedules.
“The bad weather over Delhi has affected flight schedules. We are closely monitoring the weather and doing our best to get you where you want to be safely and smoothly,” the airline said in a post on X. It urged passengers to check the status of their flights through its website or mobile application, and stressed that ground teams are available to assist travelers.
This warning comes at a time when the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for light rain and thunderstorms in most areas of Delhi during the next few hours.

On Tuesday morning, the city witnessed light rain, its rainfall varying across weather stations. According to official data, the cumulative rainfall rate over the 24 hours until 8:30 a.m. was:
- 0.4 mm in Safdarjung
- 1.4 mm in palam
- 1 mm in Lodhi Road
- Track rainfall in the ridge
- 3 mm in Ayanagar
The minimum temperature in Safdarjung was recorded at 20.1°C, which is 0.1 degree higher than the seasonal average.
