After getting a clean chit in the tax policy case, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal escalated his attack on the BJP leadership, challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to call fresh elections in Delhi and alleging a political conspiracy against him and his party.

“I challenge Prime Minister Modi to hold fresh elections in Delhi and if BJP wins more than 10 seats, I will quit politics,” Kejriwal said.
“Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah should apologize to the country. The court termed the case completely fake and unfit for trial,” he added.
“Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah hatched a conspiracy against us. We are ‘Katar Immandar’,” Kejriwal said.
“The historic ruling passed by the court today. I thank everyone who supported us,” the former Delhi chief minister said at a press conference.
He also blamed the government for the pollution crisis in Delhi.
“The BJP has thrown Delhi into chaos due to problems like pollution, polluted Yamuna and damaged roads,” he asserted.

What happened?
A Delhi court on Friday removed former Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia and 21 others in a tax policy case, criticizing India’s central bank for failing to prove any “comprehensive conspiracy or criminal intent” behind the policy.
Special Judge Jitendra Singh refused to peruse the agency’s charge sheet, observing that the CBI case did not stand up to judicial scrutiny. The court noted that the investigating agency appeared to have based its conspiracy narrative largely on conjecture rather than concrete evidence.
