Tension erupted in a public brawl after two women clashed over pet walking in an apartment in Greater Noida. The incident began when a resident objected to another woman walking her dog through a common area of ​​the housing complex.

Police said the disagreement quickly turned ugly, with the dog’s owner allegedly abusing the complainant, NDTV reported. The argument was recorded on a mobile phone, and the video soon surfaced on social media platforms, garnering widespread attention and calls for police action.

Bisrakh police officials registered a case based on a complaint lodged by a resident named Swati. Authorities have confirmed that the viral footage is being examined as part of the investigation, and further action will be taken after verifying the details.

The viral video has sparked strong reactions online. Some users demanded stricter enforcement of pet-related regulations in residential societies, with one writing, “Action should be taken on that.”

Meanwhile, DCP X of Central Noida posted a message, saying, “In Bisrakh police station area, under Amrapali Golf Homes Society, a verbal altercation took place between two parties over walking a dog, based on the complaint of the complainant, an FIR has been registered at Bisrakh police station. The accused woman has been taken into custody and legal action has been taken.”

Similar clashes have been reported in recent years from housing societies across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad and Gurugram over allegations of dog walking, stray animal management and dog bites.
