The suspense and series of allegations in the Twisha Sharma death case continue, days after a Noida woman was found dead at her marital home in Bhopal.

The case continues to make headlines amid the CBI taking over the investigation, ordering another autopsy and alleged allegations from the victim’s family against the in-laws.
Amid the ongoing investigation, a video of Twisha Sharma’s mother-in-law’s lawyer has surfaced in which he appears angry at reporters outside the family home.
The lawyer, Enosh George, was out with Twisha’s mother-in-law, Gribala Singh, when he came across a group of reporters who were looking for updates on the case.
When asked about the victim’s family’s demands for a CBI investigation, George said: “(CBI investigation) should definitely happen. The investigation should happen and it should be investigated.”
Moments later, he shouted at the journalists present, claiming that his foot had fallen under the tire of the car in which Girabala Singh was sitting. The video showed him hitting the hood of the car with his hand until his foot came free.
“Who’s going to answer this? Who’s going to answer this? You’re trying to get people killed. The car ran over my feet. At least give some space for someone to walk. What kind of behavior is this?” said the angry lawyer.
“The bone in his leg must have been broken,” he said, looking angry.
Seconds later, he continued, saying: “Apologise. Because of you, my foot was crushed under the car. You don’t care.”
Giripala Singh’s role under the scanner
The role of Gribala Singh, her mother-in-law who served as additional district magistrate, has come under scrutiny, with Toysha’s family alleging that she interfered in the investigation.
In a detailed statement, the family questioned why Gribala Singh contacted senior government officials, members of the judiciary and technicians associated with CCTV maintenance immediately after the death, according to PTI.
Twisha Sharma was found hanged at her marital home in Katara Hills area of Bhopal on May 12. Her family accused her in-laws of harassing her over dowry and pushing her to death. Her in-laws claimed that she was addicted to drugs. Madhya Pradesh has asked the CBI to take over the investigation into Twisha Sharma’s death.
Meanwhile, Bhopal Police has issued a notice to Giripala Singh to record her statement in connection with the case. She has been booked along with Twisha Sharma’s husband in a dowry harassment case.
