The district administration in Gautam Buddha Nagar in Uttar Pradesh will organize a major charity event on May 1 that includes several programs related to health, education, labour, banking and supplies departments. One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of 15,000 LPG cylinders (5 kg each) by the Food and Civil Supplies Department. Several health schemes and facilities will also be launched, including mobile medical trucks, telemedicine facilities, and health ATMs.

Here’s what’s included in the Gautam Budda Nagar welfare event on May 1, 2026:

- Additional telemedicine facilities will be launched at 44 locations.
- Dispensaries and ambulance rooms will be opened at 79 locations in industrial units.
- 25 mobile medical trucks will be flagged off (Chief Minister Arogya Rath).
- 300,000 sanitary napkins will be distributed.
- Health camps for workers will be organized at 201 sites, while free medical services will be provided through 31 multi-specialty hospitals on site.
- 25 health ATMs will be launched.
- 4 ALS ambulances will be opened.
- 10 dialysis units will be opened.
- The foundation stone will be laid for five clinics.
- The foundation stone for 15 health and wellness centers will be laid, along with the process of appointing heads of health operations.
- 5 new hospitals will be set up under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
- Workers’ assistance offices will be established in 201 hospitals.

- Haldoni Primary School and Chagarsi Composite School will be opened.
- The foundation stone will be laid for CM Composite School, Sector 33, Noida.
- 5 digital trucks/buses will be launched for skill development education.
- Additional skills development classes will be organized in the second period in 40 schools in labor-intensive areas.
- 25 camps will be organized under the Chalo Abhiyan.

- 24 BOCW registration centers will be opened for construction workers.
- 43 nurseries (child care rooms) will be opened.
- 79 nursery/dispensary rooms will be opened.
- 15 MoUs will be signed between industry, administration and self-help groups to make long-term workers’ welfare facilities.

- Banks will organize 26 camps in labor settlements, offering:
-Open savings accounts/Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana

– Awareness of protection against financial fraud

-Awareness about health insurance and account opening
