NEW DELHI: Ahead of his visit to Israel this week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said India deeply values the enduring friendship with Israel, built on trust, innovation and a shared commitment to peace and progress.
Modi was responding to a post by Netanyahu on the X website in which he said that the relationship between Israel and India is a strong alliance between two world leaders.Modi will travel to Israel from February 25 to 26. The visit will witness the two sides updating their security partnership.In his response, Modi said: “I completely agree with you on the India-Israel relationship as well as the diverse nature of our bilateral relations. I look forward to our discussions during my next visit to Israel.”Netanyahu also said that India and Israel are partners in innovation, security and a shared strategic vision. “Together, we are building an axis of countries committed to stability and progress,” he said.
