Election schedule 2026 live: The Election Commission of India will announce the schedule for Assembly elections in four states and one union territory on Sunday. The dates will be announced in a press conference at 4 p.m. This comes after the poll body met earlier this week on March 11 (Wednesday) to finalize the election schedule and phased poll plan for the upcoming Assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry.
