MUMBAI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will conduct 51 regulatory audits of non-scheduled operators (aircraft leasing companies) in 2025, the government said on Thursday, adding that all findings arising from these inspections have been closed.The Civil Aviation Ministry said the audits included monitoring VSR Ventures, the operator of the Learjet 45, which was involved in an accident in Baramati on January 28.In the wake of the accident that claimed the life of Ajit Pawar, among others, the DGCA has been directed to conduct an audit of VSR Ventures, covering regulatory compliance, safety management systems, crew training, and flight data monitoring practices. The review began on February 4 and is expected to be completed soon, the ministry said.The DGCA also conducts audits of operators and other important non-scheduled airports involved in VIP operations.
