Several areas across Delhi will face water supply disruption for two days (48 hours), starting Wednesday (February 25), due to connectivity work being undertaken by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), the agency announced in a statement on Monday.

The Delhi Jal Board urged residents to store sufficient quantities of water. She also indicated that during the closure period, water tanks will be available in several centers, and attached a list of phone numbers to contact them.

When will the water supply be cut off? And why?
The Delhi Jal Board said that water supply to the affected areas will be cut off for 48 hours, starting at 11 am on February 25 (Wednesday) until 11 am on February 27 (Friday).
According to the statement, the supply disruption is due to work on connecting the newly laid 1,500 mm diameter double raw water line to disconnect it from the existing 1,500 mm diameter double raw water line at Dwarka WTP in Bhagya Vihar.
