A gym in West Delhi’s Paschim Vihar area was attacked early Thursday after two unidentified men riding a motorcycle opened fire on the building, police said. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The shooting occurred at the 24 Hs Fitness gym located in the Pushkar area, prompting a police response and opening an investigation into the possible motives behind the attack. Authorities are also examining a possible connection with Punjabi singer and businessman Guru Randhawa, whose name emerged during the investigation.
Assailants riding a bike shoot
According to Delhi Police, information about the incident was received through a PCR call in the early hours of Thursday.
“In the early morning of 06/11/26, a PCR call was received at PS Paschim Vihar East regarding a shooting incident at ’24 Hs fitness’ gym, at Pushkar Enclave, Paschim Vihar, Delhi,” a Delhi Police statement said.
Initial investigations revealed that two attackers arrived on a motorcycle and fired several shots at the gym before fleeing.
The attackers had hidden their identities by covering their faces with a cloth, making immediate identification difficult. Despite the shooting, no injuries were reported, police said.
“On initial verification, it was confirmed that a few shots were fired at the gym window by two unidentified bikers, who were covering their faces with a cloth. No one sustained any kind of injury in the incident,” Delhi Police said.
Following the incident, police launched an investigation, and officials said multiple teams from the local police district and specialized units were tasked with identifying and tracking down those involved.
Police are checking Guru Randhawa’s call
Investigators are also looking into whether the targeted gym has any connection with Guru Randhawa.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), officials are checking the ownership structure of the establishment and have asked the gym owner to submit ownership documents.
The DCP added that the gym began operations in February this year. Investigators are examining whether it operates as a franchise associated with a fitness brand linked to Randhawa.
Officials have not confirmed any direct link between the singer and the incident yet, and the verification process is still ongoing.
A post on social media claiming responsibility
Meanwhile, an unverified social media post allegedly linked to an escaped gangster linked to Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has surfaced online, claiming responsibility for the shooting.
The post was allegedly made from an account opened in the name of fugitive gangster Anil Pandit. Authorities are examining the authenticity of the message as part of the investigation.
“Anil Pandit and I and Lawrence Bishnoi’s group carried out the shooting that took place today at 24 HS Fitness Delhi, Guru Randhawa’s gym. He has become very close to Salman Khan. We had previously warned him to stay away from him as he is our enemy, but he did not understand,” the post claimed.
“And all our enemies, wherever they go, in any corner of the world, we will soon face them. Wait and watch.
Note: All these traitors who are conspiring against the country are hiding in any corner of the world, and we will kill them there ourselves.”
HT cannot independently verify the claims made in the social media post. The police have also not confirmed the authenticity of the message and are examining all possible angles.
