CM Yogi also challenged the opposition to question the transparency of the job selection process

“Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in the country. The population of this state is 25 lakh crore, and in the last nine years, we have given government jobs to 9 lakh youngsters. No one, not even the opposition, can raise questions about the transparency of a single post or the selection process,” CM Yogi said in his address at the distribution ceremony of appointment letters of 665 nursing officers in Lucknow.

Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reducing excise duty on petrol and diesel.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of Noida International Airport in Jewar, CM Yogi acknowledged the global fuel crisis and noted that prices of petroleum products in India have remained stable.

He said, “Today is an occasion to express gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the occasion of Ram Navami, there was enthusiasm across the country. There is currently chaos and tensions across the world, and prices of petroleum products are rising significantly. However, with his foresight and nation-first attitude, we are witnessing the results of the work done in the last 11-12 years. Prices of petroleum products in India are stable, supply is smooth. Even developed countries like India are witnessing a rise in oil prices. Neighboring India has fuel shortages and chaos, but I thank Prime Minister Modi for the historic decision to reduce tariffs.

Noida International Airport is among the largest new airport projects in India. The airport will initially have a passenger handling capacity of 12 million passengers per annum (MPPA), with the potential to expand up to 70 million passengers per annum when fully developed. It features a 3,900-meter runway capable of handling wide-body aircraft, along with modern navigation systems including an Instrument Landing System (ILS) and advanced airport lighting to support efficient, all-weather, around-the-clock operations.
