The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) opened the online mark checking and re-evaluation portal for Class XII students on Tuesday morning after several delays.

In a notification to students, the Board announced that the verification and re-evaluation portal is now active and advised candidates to follow the application process carefully.
The CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation portal remained inaccessible on June 1.

Checking Tags: A Step-by-Step Guide
After logging in, students will see different sections on the portal.
Students can solve problems in all subjects in one attempt. Multiple issues can also be submitted separately and simultaneously.
Step 1: Select the Check Tags section.
Step 2: The subjects for which scanned copies have been obtained will be displayed on the screen.
For example, if you get the scanned version of English, the word “English” will appear on the screen.
Step 3: Select the topic.
Step 4: Choose the issue you want to report.
Available options are:
• Missing pages – You will be asked to enter the missing page numbers.
• Supplemental copy missing – Enter the number of missing supplemental copies.
• The chart is missing / the map is missing.
• Scanned Answer Book – Enter the required page number(s).
• The answer book does not belong to me.
• Wrong group evaluation.
Step 5: Once done, click “Save and continue previewing”.
Step 6: If any changes are needed, or if you would like to add another verification request, select “Submit another verification request”.
Step 7: Once you are satisfied with the details, click “Continue Payment”.
Step 8: A confirmation message will appear. After clicking on “Lock my order and pay now”, the order will be frozen and cannot be modified.
Step 9: Complete the online payment.
Step 10: After successful payment, download the app.
Step 11: Students can track the status of their verification request through the portal.
Reevaluation: A step-by-step guide
Step 1: Select the Revaluation section.
Step 2: Select the topic.
Step 3: Enter the details of the question to be re-evaluated.
Step Four: State the question number.
For example, if the question is 1(a), enter “1(a).”
Step 5: Enter the page number on which the question appears in your answer book.
Step Six: State the marks you obtained for this question or section.
Step 7: In the Marks Claimed field, enter the marks you think should be awarded.
Step 8: Provide the reason for requesting re-evaluation. Avoid using general reasons and explain the discrepancy clearly.
Step 9: If necessary, add more questions to reassess.
Step 10: Repeat the process for all questions that are requested to be re-evaluated.
Step 11: Click “Save and continue previewing”.
Step 12: Review all details carefully.
Step 13: If another re-evaluation request is needed, select the Add another request option.
Step 14: Once you have verified all the details, freeze the application and continue. After freezing, no changes can be made. Check the details and complete the payment transaction online.
Step 15: Once the payment is successful, download the app. Students can follow the status of their re-evaluation request through the portal.
