The Prime Minister celebrated a ‘triple’ victory in Assam and a landslide victory in West Bengal, where the BJP ended the 15-year Trinamool Congress (TMC) administration. “Ma Ganga called us and blessed us,” Modi said, referring to the BJP’s victory in Bengal. “We have received great blessings from Brahmaputra as well. It is Maa Kamakhya’s blessing. The people of Assam have put their trust in the BJP-NDA for the third time,” he added.
