The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Saturday released the final result of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). The result was announced by BPSC Chairman Ravi Manubhai Parmar at a press conference.

Shraddha Pandey emerged first in the exam with 593 marks, while Shashank Gaurav and Ayush Bijoy scored 592, securing second and third positions respectively. Navbharat Times I mentioned.

While examinations were conducted for 2,035 seats, a total of 5,401 candidates were called for interviews. 20,034 candidates attended the exam.

The 70th CCE examination began in December 2024, while the main (written) examination was held from April 25 to April 30, 2025 across 32 examination centers across Patna. Mains result was announced on 16 December 2025.

CCE has come under intense scrutiny due to allegations of paper leaks. The Bihar state government rejected the allegations, but ordered re-examination for more than 12,000 candidates who appeared for the exam at a center in Patna. The exam was conducted in 912 centers across the state.

Steps to check BPSC CCE result

Here are the steps to check BPSC 70th CCE results:

  • Go to the official BPSC website at bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
  • On the home page, click on the link for 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Final Result under Results or Important Notices section.

  • The resulting PDF file containing the list numbers of successful candidates will appear on the screen.
  • Use the search function to find your record number and save a PDF for future use.

Protests and controversy over the exam

The 70th joint competitive examination of BPSC has been tangled in controversy since December 2024 and intensified in February 2025. Popular Patna teacher Khan Sir joined the protesters demanding cancellation of the competitive examination.

The demonstrators, including Khan Sir and other teachers, had demanded the cancellation due to the “normalization of grades”.

Normalization is a process by which marks obtained in examinations in two or more periods are equalized using a statistical formula. Finally, the candidate is given a percentage based on the marks obtained.

A batch of petitions demanding cancellation and conduct of fresh CCE examination of BPSC have also been filed before the Patna High Court. But in March 2025, the court rejected the petitions.
