Strong storms accompanied by heavy rains lashed Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, killing at least 89 people and wreaking havoc in various districts of the state.

While several videos showing the damage caused by the storm went viral on social media, a video from Bamiana village in Bareilly stood out.
The video shows a man drifting through the air as a strong storm carries a tin roof with it.
The man, who was allegedly clinging to a tin shed, was lifted about 30 to 40 feet into the air along with the massive structure, which was also lifted and flipped by the strong winds.
The man is lifted into the air, and after a while he falls to the ground.
“It was 30-40 feet high… and I didn’t know where it fell.”
The man, identified as Nanhe Mian, was injured after falling to the ground. “The wind was so strong that the tin shed started making loud noises. I thought if I didn’t hold on to it, it would blow away in the storm. So, I immediately grabbed a rope tied to the shed,” he told news agency PTI.

He said that after that, strong winds blew and lifted the shed and him into the air. “She was carried about 50 feet in the air before the storm weakened and she fell to the ground,” he added.
