Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said the NDA government’s policy is social justice and working to reduce financial inequality.

Addressing the assembly, the Prime Minister noted that the TDP-led NDA government is working for political representation on the basis of population ratio and social empowerment.
“The NDA government’s policy is social justice. We are working to reduce financial inequality,” Naidu said.
Although the PPP model has enabled good infrastructure and good income, he said it has led to financial inequality, which prompted him to put forward the P4 or public-private partnership model to “eradicate poverty.”
With India emerging as the world’s top country by 2047, Naidu said it would not be good to have financial disparities by then.
Emphasizing that the state government stands with the weaker sections, the Prime Minister promised to save them in every way, including the economically weaker sections, and work to achieve gender equality.
Irrigation Minister N Rama Naidu informed the House that the Yanamaduru drain, which passes through the West Godavari district headquarters of Bhimavaram, has 46 dilapidated inlets out of 54 in total.
He claimed that maintenance of projects, canals and drains collapsed during the previous YSRCP government.
“if $Rs 200 crore was spent on operations and maintenance in five years under the previous YSRCP regime, which was spent by the coalition government $708 crore in its first year itself,” Naidu said, referring to the irrigation projects.
Meanwhile, the Legislative Council sessions were postponed for most of the day following the raising of the slogans of the multilateral committees in the House of Representatives.
Later, it resumed some time when Home Minister Vanjalapudi Anitha submitted a report on the four deaths and their hospitalization in Rajahmundry following consumption of contaminated milk by some locals.
