The victim, Nitish Bhatia, who was working as a human resources executive at a private company based in IMT-Manesar, sustained injuries and was rushed to hospital after the incident, news agency PTI reported.

Bhatia underwent medical treatment after the accident caused injuries to his hands and legs. He also had stitches in his ears.

What happened?

Bhatia, a resident of Sector 1, Manesar, was driving home after finishing work on Tuesday. He did not know that the regular trip would lead to a violent quarrel that would lead him to the hospital.

After passing Sarita Handa Exports on his way, the Alto car, which appeared to be driving rashly and did not have a number plate, hit Bhatia’s car from behind.

The agency quoted him as saying in his complaint: “My car was severely damaged, and when I got out of my car, the Alto driver and two of his companions started fighting with me.”

The quarrel allegedly escalated into an assault with one of the accused hitting Bhatia with a baseball bat and another hitting him with a cricket bat before threatening to kill him.

The police said that the assault resulted in injuries to his legs and hands.

Bhatia underwent four stitches in his ear after being admitted to the hospital.

An FIR was filed in anger on Gurugram road

After filing a complaint, an FIR was registered against the three unidentified persons under Sections 281 (rash driving), 125, 324 (4) (mischief), 115 (2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 351 (3) (criminal intimidation) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at IMT Manesar police station on Wednesday.

A senior police officer said that efforts are currently underway to identify the car and the accused.
