The India Meteorological Department has warned of a dust storm approaching the Delhi-NCR region. According to an IMD notification, a dust storm, followed by thunderstorm and light rain, is expected to hit Delhi, Noida and other NCR districts amid the intense heatwave.
According to the Meteorological Department, Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chaprawala, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Faridabad and Ballabgarh are expected to witness strong winds amid the dust storm.
According to the IMD nowcast, there is an active yellow alert for Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad due to light rain and thunderstorms.
