A child died after falling from the building

Earlier, a four-year-old boy died after falling from the 15th floor of a high-rise building in Omicron-1 area of Greater Noida. According to the police, the child was accompanied by his mother, who works as a maid in housing societies. She took him with her while cleaning a vacant apartment on the fifteenth floor.

While she was busy working inside the apartment, the child was playing nearby. He is said to have moved towards an open window and fell from there by mistake. Police said there was no protective glass or safety barrier installed on the window, which may have contributed to the accident.

As soon as the mother realized what had happened, she rushed downstairs with the help of local residents. The child was taken to a nearby hospital to receive emergency treatment, but he was declared dead upon arrival.

Immediately after the accident occurred, the police arrived at the scene, conducted a preliminary investigation, and sent the body for autopsy. Officials said that no case has been recorded so far, and further investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances of the fall.
