Alwar: Seven workers were killed after being buried under soil during excavation work at a construction site in Haryana late Monday night. Several other people were seriously injured in the accident that took place at a residential project of Signature Global Builder Society at Kapriawas, located along the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway near Daruhera.

According to officials, chaos erupted at the site when a large pile of soil collapsed during excavation work, trapping several workers underneath. Ambulances took the injured to Bhiwadi District Hospital, where doctors declared seven workers dead. The seriously injured workers were transported to nearby hospitals.
Dr. Sagar Arora from Bhiwadi District Hospital confirmed that seven bodies were taken to the hospital after the digging accident. He added: “Seven workers have been announced dead. Rescue operations are still ongoing, and the death toll may rise as efforts continue to extract people from under the rubble.”
Additional Superintendent of Police Atul Sahu identified a few of the deceased as Parmeshwar (52), Satish (35) from Bharatpur district, Bhagirath (50) and Mangal (32). The identity of the two victims has not yet been determined. The police informed the Rajasthan and Haryana authorities, and family members of the victims began arriving at the hospital.
