5 people die after Tilak ceremony in Bihar village

SASARAM: An investigation has been launched following reports of the death of at least five people among those attending a wedding on February 14 in Bihar’s Rohtas district. A team of excise department and district officials reached Mattiya village.According to sources, a day after Bojan Singh organized a ’tilak’ party for his son, his other son fell ill and died. Four of their relatives also died within three days. Speculation quickly spread linking the deaths to alleged alcohol consumption.Unverified reports also indicate that two chefs died after returning home, although there is no official confirmation.
