Ben Schneider, the YouTube creator also known online as Reckless Ben, has signed with CAA to represent.
The move comes as Schneider and his investigative video content are caught up in a viral YouTube investigation and legal dispute with Utah-based reseller Lego Bricks & Minifigs over a missing and stolen Lego Star Wars set.
In a statement, CAA called Schneider “a pioneer of independent investigative filmmaking. A documentary filmmaker and digital media personality, his fearless style of storytelling has made him one of the most talked-about creators on the internet. By combining investigative journalism, immersive engagement, humor, and high-stakes real-world adventures, Ben has built a global audience that extends to millions of viewers across multiple platforms.”
His YouTube investigation into an 83-year-old man who entered into a shipping agreement for a valuable Lego Star Wars set that disappeared led to arrests and lawsuits involving Schneider. Amid the ensuing media attention, a video appeared on YouTube dated May 21, 2026 titled I tracked down the thief who stole $200,000 from LEGO Schneider has had about 6.5 million views so far.
This was quickly followed by a second YouTube video from Schneider titled I was arrested during an investigation at a LEGO store.
The dispute is now the subject of lawsuits and countersuits involving Schneider, who also faces misdemeanor criminal charges from the American Fork Police Department for allegedly going with a hidden camera to the offices of Bricks and Minifigs in December 2025.
CAA notes Schneider’s ability to make “complex” corporate practices and adventures “accessible and entertaining” via his YouTube videos.
The Hollywood talent agency added: “His latest investigation into the Bricks and Minifigs Lego shipment scandal has generated widespread media attention and sparked public controversy. It has garnered 28 million views and is based on the series on his YouTube channel – it’s his combination of courage, authenticity and relentless pursuit of the truth that has transformed Ben from an internet creator into a global phenomenon.”
