'Work, work, work': Amitabh Bachchan returns to work with powerful post on self-esteem after post-hospital speculation

The Shaheenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, recently shared new pictures from his shooting schedule as well as a reflective message on work and self-esteem, days after reports claiming that he has been hospitalized surfaced online.

The actor’s latest post reassured fans, as he seemed to be back at work soon after the uproar regarding his health.The legendary actor took to his personal blog, posting glimpses of his work commitments and wrote, “…work, work, work some more…work be the language of improvisation…work that..conveys..fullness of growth and self-esteem (sic).”

Reports of Amitabh Bachchan being hospitalized have raised concerns among fans

The update comes nearly five days after speculation about Amitabh Bachchan’s health began circulating on social media platforms.

Reports had earlier claimed that the actor was admitted to the VIP ward of Nanavati Hospital on May 16 due to stomach-related issues. However, subsequent updates indicated that the actor only underwent a routine medical check-up and was discharged soon after the check-up. Reports further stated that he returned home after the evaluation.While the actor himself has not directly addressed the rumors, his latest work-related post seems to have allayed concerns surrounding his health.

Big B’s mysterious poem has attracted attention online

A day after hospitalization rumors gained momentum, Amitabh Bachchan shared a mysterious late-night post filled with poetry and spiritual references. He started the post with lines from ‘Ramcharitmanas’, and wrote, ‘Mangal Bhavan Amangal Haari’.The actor later added a quirky poem that read, “Cheel jab hove shaant toh bhaiya, tote bolan shuru karein. Ir bir fatte, kahan ‘chal hamau’, pilave shuru karein!!!! Bajre di roti kha di, phoo padiyon da saag re.”

Who mein daalan laage jaise, bolan laage kaag re!!!!! Ek rahi ‘heel’ bhaiya ki badhai ka darpan; Aur dosar wellington ki yad!!” He concluded the note with “Love, prayers and more.”The post quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom interpreted it as a subtle response to the rumors surrounding his health.

Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming projects

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel.

The film featured an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and others. The actor is also associated with Nag Ashwin’s ambitious sci-fi project ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, co-starring Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan is expected to appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic drama ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol. The megastar is reportedly set to play the role of Jatayu in the film.
