The CEO, who has worked at the talent agency for more than 20 years, will now oversee all communications strategies and operations.

WME Group has promoted Mary Sheehy to executive vice president and chief communications officer, overseeing all communications strategies and operations for the company, which includes talent agency WME, IMG Licensing and Pantheon Media Group.
Sheehy serves as the spokesperson for WME Group, while managing the company’s external, internal and executive communications.
The veteran communications executive has been with the company for more than two decades, having joined what was then the William Morris agency in 2005, and helped lead communications through its merger with Endeavor, the company’s transformative acquisitions of IMG and the UFC, and last year’s private sector takeover of Silver Lake. Sheehy also led corporate communications for Endeavor Content (now Season 5), helping launch that studio.
“Mary has played an integral role at WME for two decades and has helped guide the reputation of our company and our clients through countless milestones and continued evolution,” Christian Muirhead and Richard Weitz, co-presidents of WME Group, said in a statement. “Her strategic counsel, steady leadership and trusted relationships across the media and entertainment industries make her an invaluable partner as we position WME Group as a premier destination for talent representation.”
Sheehy is a member of the Board of Advisors of the USC Annenberg Public Relations Center and serves as a mentor to the USC Annenberg Center for Public Affairs Hollywood ReporterWomen in Entertainment Program.
