Actress Katrina Kaif is reportedly all set to return to the limelight after embracing motherhood, and her next venture is likely to be in the digital space. According to the latest reports, the actress has started reviewing scripts again and is becoming selective about the projects she chooses for her comeback.“Katrina Kaif has returned to reading scripts after embracing motherhood recently. The actress is reportedly planning to return to a film slated for the second half of 2027 and is actively looking for the right script, which is worth her time. For the same reason, she seems to be interested in exploring streaming projects that could provide better opportunities for the actors,” a source told India Today. If discussions go ahead, the project will mark Katrina’s first-ever foray into the world of streaming.

While many Bollywood actors have successfully balanced theatrical releases with OTT content, Katrina is yet to headline a feature-length digital series or film.The source also revealed that the actress takes her time before committing to a new project, prioritizing stories and characters that fit the current stage of her life as an artist and mother.Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas (2024), where she played the lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi. Since then, she has remained largely out of the public eye, although anticipation surrounding her next career move continues among fans.

The actress, who married Vicky Kaushal in 2021, recently entered a new chapter of her life with motherhood. Over the years, she has given many memorable performances in films like Welcome (2007), Race (2008), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), cementing her status as one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema.
