Kumud Rani was a Dubai-based entrepreneur and founder of a popular beauty and wellness venture that she started in 2005. According to a post shared on the brand’s Instagram account, she “tried to create a high-end beauty parlour, offering multiple services under one roof without compromising on quality.” Meanwhile, apart from beauty and wellness, the deceased had a passion for interior design, social media and marketing.
Although she has largely stayed out of the public eye, Kumud has maintained an Instagram account with over 15k followers and 633 posts. Her IG feed provided occasional glimpses into her travels, work, and personal life. According to a Hindustan Times report, she is believed to have a son named Kabir.

Kumud Rani’s relationship with Salman Khan’s family was deep. She was married to Jogi Rane, a long-time friend of the star, and over the years she became a cherished part of the family’s extended inner circle.
