Before autumn Dancing with the stars In the Season 35 premiere, a new spin-off joins the series to determine who will become a professional dancer in the main series. Dancing with the Stars: The Next Professional Host, judges and actors
Season 34 DWTS Winner Robert Irwin will be the host, while mother-son duo Shirley and Mark Ballas will be on the weekly judging panel. Rotating guest judges – who will serve as weekly mentors – will sit third on the panel. Guest judges for this season include Derek Hough, Whitney Carson, Jenna Johnson, Brett Stewart, Daniela Karajac, Brandon Armstrong, and Kim Johnson-Herjavec.
Twelve contestants will compete Next Pro. These professional dancers include Benjamin Castro, Allen Jenkin, Selena Hamilton, Nathalie Jolie, Eric Linder, Nina Meister, Jake Monreal, Briar Nollette, AJ Pritchard, Tristen Sanders, Stephanie Sosa, and Adele Zechman. Sosa is the sister of current pro Ezra and was a member of the band in season 33.
