Similar concerns have arisen before
This isn’t the first time Rae has caused concern among her fans.In 2024, viewers were left concerned after a video from her cooking series Rachael Ray in Tuscany showed her slurring her words. Although Rae did not directly address the speculation, she later revealed on her podcast “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” that she had suffered “two bad falls.”Earlier this year, the TV chef also made headlines after showing off a noticeably slimmer physique, which she previously credited to following a Mediterranean diet.

The past few years have brought many personal challenges for Ray.In 2025, she lost her mother, Elsa Scuderi. Instead, she continued to share cooking content with her followers and focus on her production company, Free Food Studios, after ending The Rachael Ray Show in 2023 after a successful run of nearly two decades.The TV personality has also remained private about her health over the years. Aside from a simple vocal cord procedure in 2008 to remove a benign cyst, Rae has shared very little information about her medical history, choosing instead to highlight her work and passion for cooking.
