As part of a push to expand partnerships with content-minded brands, Wavelength has appointed advertising veteran Matt Klein as chief growth officer.
In this newly recreated role, Klein will oversee Wavelength’s brand partnerships and growth strategy, working with marketers to develop projects across film, television, Broadway, sports and digital. The move comes as the company doubles its production capabilities, recently opening a more than 10,000-square-foot creative campus in Los Angeles in an effort to expand creative and brand facing capabilities and provide space for collaborating artists to work on-site.
“As brands look to connect more meaningfully with their audiences, their entertainment strategies and focus on great storytelling have never been more important,” says Klein. “Wavelength’s ability to harness the best talent and craft stories in any format and medium – from the big screen to Broadway and YouTube – is rare in the branding space and makes us the ideal partner for ambitious brands and agencies looking to shake up traditional advertising.”
Founded by Jennifer Westphal, Wavelength has built a name for itself across sectors and has had particular success in documentaries (Won’t you be my neighbor, feel good, where’s Roy Cohn?) and Broadway (Tony Award-winning Strangers).
Klein joins the wavelength during the expansion phase. The company has added four senior executives in the past six months, including head of film Stacey Reese and head of marketing Tiffany Wang. In 2026, Wavelength expanded into sports by acquiring Dan Bradley and John Weidman’s creative agency Duplex Daily.
Klein most recently served as CMO at Publicis Groupe as CMO of two full-service creative agencies, The Community and Fallon, and previously worked at Anomaly New York, Zambezi and Kobe Bryant-founded CAA.
“I am thrilled to have Matt join us in this pivotal role as Wavelength continues to expand across all genres of entertainment,” Wavelength President and Co-CEO Joe Plummer said of Kline’s appointment. “Matt brings experience, thoughtfulness and great instincts to everything we do.”
