CBS is adding a comedy to its lineup for the 2026-27 season.
The network gave a serial command to Yours forevera show about a family of vampires. The series comes from ghosts Showrunners Joe Burt, Joe Weisman and CBS Studios.
CBS also announced that it will not move forward with a second comedy pilot, Tilbroxa multi-camera comedy starring Rhys Darby and Kate Walsh from creator Tara Hernandez.
Single camera Yours forever Stars Ed Weeks (Mindy Project) and Allegra Edwards (to lift) as “a vampire couple whose passionate romance turns into a heartless marriage after 500 years together,” as the show’s description states. “Living in present-day Seattle with their strange community, they’ve settled into an eternal rut — until their daughter’s (Helen J. Chen) no-nonsense human boyfriend (Jaren Lewison) unexpectedly enters their lives and forces them to confront whether their love can last forever…or if forever is a life sentence.”
The cast also includes Parker Young, Rose Abdo, Tristan Michael Brown, and Shilo Molina.
Yours forever She is the first half-hour addition to CBS’ 2026-27 lineup, joining dramas Cupertino and Einstein. The network is saying goodbye to two of its current comedies, viz The neighborhood It ends after eight seasons and the first year’s run DMV Canceled.
Executive produced by Port and Weissman Yours forever With Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum. And Jason Wang. Trent O’Donnell directed and executive produced the pilot.
