Spanish media giant TelevisaUnivision reported US revenue fell 2 percent to $1.3 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025, with US advertising revenue falling 11 percent to $423.2 million alongside a 2 percent decline in subscriptions and licensing revenue to $341 million.

Total U.S. revenue fell 7% to $777.2 million in the three months to December 31, 2025, or a 3% decline when accounting for political advertising. Mexico revenues rose 7% to $546 million, and advertising revenues grew 15% to $433 million in that market.

TelevisaUnivision narrowed its fourth-quarter net loss to $234.7 million, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $809.7 million when the media giant recorded a $900 million non-cash loss due to impairment due in part to write-offs of its television licenses.

The most recent fiscal quarter saw TelevisaUnivision record a non-cash loss of $300 million related to write-offs of program rights. The fourth-quarter financials also emphasized how ViX’s streaming growth continues to offset declines in legacy TV assets.

“ViX delivered record revenues, achieved profitability in every quarter, expanded operating margins year-over-year, and evolved into a scalable growth engine that is now a strategic central component of our business model. In 2026, we build on this momentum to deepen audience engagement, unlock greater value for our partners, and strengthen our leadership as a voice of Spanish origins.

The company owns streaming network Univision, while also building its ViX streaming platform to go after younger consumers.
