The first 30 minutes of the film are a bit shaky, as it takes time to sync up with the world and the tone of Ramappa Rao Bahadur, Bhuvanalayam, and the kind of magical realism it is trying to do.

“Once you get into it, you’ll be impressed by its versatility.”

The review also says: “On many occasions, I wondered how a Telugu writer/director could imagine a story and narration like this. Any references, inspiration or plagiarism, if any, will eventually come to light.”At its core, Rao Bahadur is not about the royal family. It’s about the prejudices we’ve inherited. Through humour, satire and philosophy, the film takes aim at society’s obsession with skin colour, bloodline and caste.

“A rare gem worth seeing”

Another audience member praised the film’s engaging narrative and Satya Dev’s performance. The review stated, “#RaoBahadur starts on an eye-catching note. The first 5 minutes itself sets a completely different vibe and pulls you straight into the world of Rao Bahadur. The second half remains engaging throughout with #Satyadev’s impressive variations in performance, while the climactic twist leaves you in awe. A rare gem that is absolutely worth a watch.”

Nani offers support

Even before the film hits theatres, actor Nani expressed his happiness and extended his best wishes to the entire team through a social media post.

“.During the promotional campaign, director Venkatesh Maha made it clear that emotion remains the driving force behind the narrative. As quoted by Gulti, he said, “The emotional journey is what drives the film. Unlike many films where subplots stray from the main narrative, every track in Rao Bahadur remains connected.”Rao Bahadur presents Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, and features Satya Dev, Vikas Moppala and Deepa Thomas in the lead roles.
