Tom Brady and Logan Paul shared a stage at Fanatics in New York on Friday, and when their episode was over, their alleged beef was heated up and boiled in an exchange that ended with a slap in the face.

Or did you do that?

A clip posted on the Fanatics Brady then removes his hand from his camo pants pocket and moves to bat. At first glance, it appears that Brady slapped Paul in the face, but closer inspection shows that Brady’s hand missed the target and only touched Paul’s shoulder. At that moment, New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns jumped in to break up the “fight.” See the clip below.

“This happened [because] I was roasting Tom because he beat him at the football game. And trying to slap me??” Paul responded to

This happened bc I was roasting Tom because he beat him in a flag football game. And he’s trying to slap me?? A terrible example for children

Needless to say, the original Fanatics clip went viral and within three hours was viewed more than five million times. Maybe that was the point all along? After rising to fame as an influencer, YouTube content creator, and entrepreneur, Paul moved to WWE. He has been signed to the entertainment company since 2022, and has emerged as a major star in the ring despite being sidelined for two months due to a torn triceps.

During an appearance on ESPN Take firstPaul discussed his current situation by saying, “I’m an independent contractor with WWE, and I respect WWE. In fact, I’m very grateful for what they’ve done, and frankly, they’re also grateful to me for what I’ve done for the business. And they are. They pay me generously — very generously, might I add.”

Maybe some money is headed toward Brady? He’s dropped some not-so-veiled hints that his in-ring debut could be on the horizon. “I feel like I’ve retired from football, and I have the opportunity to go out there and show that I’m still somewhat athletic. [Rob Gronkowski’s] I did it, I saw Logan Paul do it. I think I can play there for at least one match, right? Brady asked during an appearance at Fanatics Fest on Thursday, per Bleacher report.

The legendary quarterback went so far as to say that he would like to be a heel, also known as a heel or bad guy. “It’s an easy choice,” Brady said. “I’m a bad guy. I’ve always been a bad guy. I mean, I feel like when our teams do really well, I always go to these stadiums and feel that. … When you go on the road and have some success in the NFL, they don’t like you. It’s an unbelievable feeling when you work all day trying to send the fans home early.”

There are some big WWE events on the calendar – including WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLV tomorrow at Madison Square Garden in New York – so it’s possible that Brady will be wearing spandex very soon. But as for the slap, even Grok wasn’t convinced.

It’s a fun moment (promo, most likely) from Fanatics Fest NYC. Tom Brady and Logan Paul were joking about sports and WWE stuff on stage. Brady slapped him, Kat stepped in to de-escalate, and it stayed light/fun. Not a prep for WWE, just celebrity events as they go on…
